List your firm

Listing takes about a minute, and most of it is filled in for you already.

Open Connect. If you haven’t listed yet, the page is the sign-up form, Set up your Connect profile.

The cities you work in. This is the one thing you really choose, and it’s how other firms find you: a firm sees you if it covers at least one of your cities.

UnitBook suggests areas from your own listings, with the number of units it counted next to each. Tap a suggestion to add it, tap a city you’ve picked to remove it, and use Search cities… for anywhere you work but have no listings yet.

Optional, and a few sentences is plenty. Write what the other side needs to know before it messages you: the kind of buildings you handle, and the neighborhoods you know best.

Below the box are switches for the numbers UnitBook counts from your workspace. You can’t type these in, and you can turn any of them off.

Switch What it shows
Team size or Portfolio size How many brokers you have, or how many units you manage
Review turnaround How quickly you approve changes to your listings
Broker firms or Management firms How many firms you work with. A number only, never names

Then press Join Connect. You’re live, and firms in your areas can see you.

Settings → Connect profile has the same profile, with a Live tag across the top showing your coverage areas. Edit anything and press Save changes.

The switch beside that tag hides your firm from the directory. You stop appearing in other firms’ searches, and you stop seeing them. The tag turns to Hidden, and the page tells you how many firms in your areas you’re missing.

Everything you wrote stays where it is. Edit it while you’re hidden if you like, and switch back on when you’re ready: your changes go live with you.
