What Connect is

Connect is where the two sides of this business find each other. Management companies with vacancies, and brokerages with people to fill them.

It isn’t a public website. Nobody outside UnitBook can see it, and nobody inside it can see you until you’ve listed your own firm.

You’re invisible until you list your firm, and you see nobody until you do.

Open Connect before you’ve listed and you get the sign-up form, Set up your Connect profile, instead of a directory. Every firm on the other side started the same way.

Once you’re listed, you see the firms that meet all three of these:

You see You don’t see
Brokerages see management companies. Management companies see brokerages Firms like yours
Firms that listed themselves Anyone who hasn’t joined
Firms covering at least one city you cover Firms working somewhere else entirely

So an empty directory usually means you cover too few cities, not that nobody is there. Adding a city you actually work in is the quickest fix.

Your firm name, the cities you cover, and whatever you write in About your firm. Then three numbers UnitBook counts for you, any of which you can switch off: how big your team or portfolio is, how quickly you approve changes to your listings, and how many firms you work with.

Only a firm owner or a listing manager can publish a profile, start a conversation, or answer a partnership proposal. Brokers never see any of it.
