Team leads

A team is one lead and the brokers you put under them. Teams decide who can start a conversation with whom. They don’t change listings, deals or pay.

Who can message whom

Brokers never message other brokers. A conversation the office starts carries on, whoever the broker is.

Make someone a team lead

1. Open Settings, then Team, and click the broker.

2. Under Team, press Make a team lead.

On the roster their chip changes to Team lead. A team has no name of its own; it’s always “Sam Ortiz’s team”, after its lead.

Put brokers on a team

1. Click a broker who isn’t on a team.

2. Under Team, press Move to a team.

3. Pick the lead’s team and press Move to team.

The broker now sits under their lead on the roster, and the lead’s chip counts them, like Team lead · 2 brokers.

To move someone to another team or off theirs, open them and press Change team. Pick No team to take them off; the button changes to Remove from team.

Delete a team

Open the lead, press Delete team, then Yes, delete the team. Everyone on it comes off the team and can no longer message the lead. Nobody leaves the company, and the lead stays a broker.

What a lead does in the app

A lead gets a Your team row in the app’s Settings. It lists their brokers and any invites they’ve sent.

Invite brokers to your team walks a lead through it, with a video. Send them the link.

A broker the lead takes off stays at your company. A lead can’t change anyone’s role, move brokers between teams or see anyone’s pay.
