What UnitBook does
Property managers keep their empty units in spreadsheets. UnitBook turns those spreadsheets into tidy listings your brokers can work from.
The five steps
Section titled “The five steps”- Import. You connect a property manager’s Google Sheet. UnitBook reads it and turns each row into a listing.
- Review. Every new or changed listing waits for you to check it.
- Edit. You fix anything the sheet got wrong and add photos.
- Publish. You send the listings you’ve approved live.
- Broker portal. Your brokers see the published listings.
Which kind of workspace do I have?
Section titled “Which kind of workspace do I have?”UnitBook works for two kinds of company, and it changes what you see.
| Brokerage | Management company | |
|---|---|---|
| Your listings come from | Sheets you connect from the managers you work with | The units you manage yourself |
| Publishing means | Your brokers can see it | The brokerages you’ve chosen can see it |
| You also get | Deals | Lockboxes, Applicants |
This was decided when your account was created.
Can other companies see my listings?
Section titled “Can other companies see my listings?”No. Your workspace is private. You can’t see another company’s listings, and they can’t see yours. Nothing is public.
There’s one exception, and it’s always clearly marked. A management company can give your brokerage access to its units. Those show up in your list labeled Partner. Your brokers can show them, but you can’t edit them, and the management company can take them back whenever it wants.
Adding listings by hand
Section titled “Adding listings by hand”You don’t have to connect a spreadsheet. You can type a listing in yourself, and everything else works the same way.
