Introducing listing linksVideo · 0:59

Links put the things that live outside UnitBook on the listing itself: a Google Photos album, a YouTube walk-through, a Matterport tour, a Zillow post. Brokers open them from the listing instead of asking you for them.

  1. Open a listing. Links sits under Utilities & amenities.

  2. Press Add and paste the link.

  3. UnitBook reads the link and fills in a title, such as Listing photos or YouTube video tour. Type over it if you want a different one.

  4. Press Add.

The link is on the listing right away. You don’t need to press Save.

A listing holds up to 20 links. Pasting a link that’s already there doesn’t add it twice.

To take one off, press the × at the end of its row.

You can add links from the phone app too. Open the listing, tap Add a link under Links, paste the link and tap Add link. To take one off, swipe its row left.

If your Google Sheet already has album or tour links, you don’t need to paste them. Each sync adds them to the right listing.

  • Google Photos, YouTube, Vimeo and Matterport links are picked up from any column.
  • Google Drive, Dropbox and iCloud links, and pages like Zillow, are only picked up from a column whose header says what it is: Photos, Pictures, Video, Media or Virtual tour. That keeps an application form from turning up as a photo album.
  • Links to Google Docs and files like PDFs are never added.

A sync only adds links. It never removes one that someone on your team added.

To see where a link came from, open the listing’s Activity tab. Links from a sync show as Links added from source, with the sheet’s name. Links added by hand show as Link added, with the person who added it.

Brokers see the same links on the listing, on the web and in the phone app. They can open them, but they can’t add or remove them.

In the phone app, a tap opens the link inside UnitBook, so the broker lands back on the listing when they close it.

Links don’t appear on the listing page you share with renters. Use photos and video for what renters should see.
